A little thing that bothers me, plus a mini-tutorial

So, one that has been bugging me lately (as a builder) is seeing other houses, that other simmers create, that look amazing and then seeing a nice, but unfinished platform!  What do I mean?

This:

Here we have a nice platform with a nice wood floor pattern on the top of it, but then 9/10 times you see the unfinished side(s). 

Ew ew ew ew EWWWW

Did you guys know you can CAS that?  

It's really simple.  So simple that your jaw may drop when you see how easy it is.  You don't even need to use cheats!

Here is how to do it.

Start with a platform

Go to the "Paint" option under wall coverings

Choose a "Flat Wall" covering (you can choose whatever wall covering you want--you can even use tiles etc., but I like using the flat wall because it gives it a seamless look)

Add the wall covering to that ugly siding

Cover the whole thing

Already look good, huh?  Well you can now make it look better by CASing it!
I added the wood floor I used on the top part of the platform around the edge.

This is how it looks now:

Muuuuuuch better. :)
