Great job on her! Virtual rec:) Are you still having the "corrupt" issue? Did you install the latest patch 1.36? I skipped the 1.34 patch, but when I got Diesel I had to install the 1.36 and none of sims have shown as corrupt before exporting.
Thanks Wibs. Yeah I still have the stupid corrupt file. I did download the 1.36 patch hoping it would fix it, but it didn't. I can't even convert her to package form to remove the file because it's the only thing that shows up when I change the file. It's sooo weird.
So yesterday, I did a factory reset by using Crinricts tutorial, but that did nothing. So then I was up until 1am last night taking all my sims3packs (none of my package files have anything corrupt) and converting every few of them to package files to see if where the corrupt file was. If none showed up, I put them back in the folder. I found a couple (same issue too....it shows up corrupt, but nothing is there when I isolate it) in houses and sims (two houses were mine, and the sim was one I downloaded), so now I'm going to see if I can remove the corrupt file via dashboard, repackage it without the file and put it back in my game and see if that gets rid of it.
What I don't understand is how the ones in my studio got it when they didn't have it when when I exported them to be uploaded. I searched online, and this issue seems to have appeared before (about a year ago), and two members are noticing the same thing as me over on Mod The Sims with it showing a corrupt file, but no file being there to remove....etc.
I'm almost done doing the sims3packs...I only have 3 more simpacks to convert to package file, take out the file, and put back in my game. No idea how this happened since a month ago, everything was fine and I hadn't downloaded anything in about a month. Even my last house (shell--NO CC) got this corrupt file. It reminds me of the doll issue we had a few years ago...this file just seems to attach itself to anything in my game! :'(
WOO-HOO - that's good news:) That exchange is so unstable and glitched it's not even funny. I say they just shut the whole thing down, do a full maintenance routine, cleansing or whatever to get it working the way it is supposed to. I don't care how long it takes, because if they do nothing it's only gonna get worse.
Her eyes are spot on it is almost scary =)
ReplyDeleteLove it, great job!
