Edit: I hate how no matter how I place lights...the ceiling always shows up black...even though I did put ceiling/floor tiles on it. Anyone know what that is?

That's who I was aiming it to be when I created her last night.

Found the perfect spot for my Beehive house.

I'm going to use my Beehive house as a vacation house in France for my legacy family. This morning I got to finally send the mom and dad of the household to France, and got to find and set up the Beehive house there.  I think I found a great spot, and cannot wait until the family has enough points to have the house as their vacation home.

Tried to take a pic of the house in the same angle as the one in the actual pic, but since I'm in edit mode...this is the best I could do.  I'll be able to get it more exact once I'm finished and play testing it with the camera-man mode.

New Subtle Changes

If you notice under the Simstopa banner near the top, there are the following links:  Brunetteismgirl's Simmies, Brunettesimgirl's Lots, and The Jones Legacy.  From now on, to make it easier to find my downloads and my legacy story, those items will be in those sections.  I will still post here as a home page, as sort of a notification that there are new creations in those areas.

If you commented on the legacy already....I just want to let you know, I did see it (Caturae and Yoteamo) and want to say thank you for the comments ( Caturae...Landon is a cutie! :) He takes after his daddy I think.♥ ; Yoeamo, I won't leave you hanging--in fact if you go to that link now, you will see there are 4 chapters already there! ;)  :) ♥ ).

I'm still learning how to link everything...it's been a while since I've done any sort of website work. :P  So my skills are a little...dusty.  lol

I'm making an attempt at making a house...

...based only from a picture.

I've only really ever created houses from actual floorplans, but I want this house!

It's a retreat house in Essex, (and doesn't include a floorplan on the site I got it from) so I may just make it my legacy family's vacation house in France, or maybe in another town since I have TwallIan's Traveler mod installed.  I thought about making it their new legacy house, but I really like the house they are in now, and I have a hard time playing multiple families, so starting a new family for this house is not an option for me (I tend to totally abandon one of them eventually).
So either later today, or Monday, I will start working on this, and yay, I found pics of the interior as well!

It really bugs me...

When someone asks your opinion and then bitches you out for it.  It's my opinion.... like it, love it, hate it, it's my effing opinion and you don't have to like it, but don't you dare ask me what my opinion is on something then bitch me out because it conflicts with your opinion on the situation. That's what makes me, me and you, you.
You can try to change my opinion on whatever it is we're debating, but do it nicely for christ sake, and if I don't want to change my opinion then deal with it.

If you know me pretty well, you know I wear glasses, and if not...you just learned it (hahahahahahahaha).  I've been wearing glasses since I was in the 3rd grade (26 years). I also have astigmatism in the eye that I have been noticing the issue, but from what I've read about astigmatism...there is nothing that sounds like the issue has to do with this.

So anyway, this is the issue...I'll try to explain as best as I can...Ya know how when a car at night drives by you might get the headlight reflected in your eye for a moment?  Well, that's kind of like what's happening to me.  It happens in the left eye, in the lower corner (almost like someone is shining a flashlight in that corner of my eye). Most times it is really quick, and the "light" is very small, but noticeable.  Other times it's very large and sticks around until I rub my eye. Both times it can go away by blinking, and each time I notice it, my eye tears up.

I am well over due for a eye exam, but with us being tight on money (we pretty much live pay check to pay check if you know what I mean), I have to wait until we get our return taxes to go get my eyes check and get an updated prescription for my glasses.

Now after reading that, you might be thinking, "Are you sure you're just not getting some sort of light reflected in your eye".  Yes I am sure.  The first time it happened it was in the evening and I thought there was a car pulling out and I got the headlight reflected into my eye, but then I started noticing it when there was no explaination as to why I was getting this "reflection" in my eye.  I know I need to get my eyes checked, but this sort of scares me...I've never, in my 26 years of wearing glasses,  have noticed anything like this...before. I just hope it's nothing and I don't need surgery or anything like that.  The idea of them having to lazer or slice open my eye..creeps me out to no end.
