New sim coming up soon

Sometime today, I will be uploading a new sim.  Then this computer is being returned/exchanged for a Toshiba Satellite (which is the same type of laptop I had--only this one will be an upgrade).  This laptop, a HP, keeps disconnecting me from the internet, and sometimes won't allow me to connect back to the internet.  We never had that issue with our Toshiba (or the Samsung we had for the short time that we had it).  The Toshiba has similar specs to this HP, but has a graphics card that is supported by sims 3 and pets (this one works with the game, but is not supported--so I have to play with the settings on medium to low to get the game to run well).  I even went as far as, after trying to diagnose the internet problem myself I called the HP Tech support, which they had me do the exact thing(s) I did when I self diagnosed it, and it's not a router/modem issue either...my bf's nephew was able to connect to our wireless router without any issues.  They then told me it was probably an internal issue and that since it's a new computer, I can have it worked on through the warranty.  I chose not to do this, and instead will be returning it tomorrow evening and getting the Toshiba.  That is all for now.  Going to work on my images for the sim I'm going to be uploading...that is if the internet will allow me to access pixlr.com, photobucket.com or picnik.com (is that still up and running?).  Until then...

I'm still here

Just wanted everyone know that I am still here! :D

With the laptop being killed...by yours truly, needing to find  a few online file storage to upload my creations (thanks again, mediafire), then the new computer not working properly--thus resulting in a return, then moving, and now trying to diagnose my internet connection and why I keep getting randomly disconnected from the internet....I haven't had time to actually sit down and install my games and get creating again.  Hopefully, since we are just about settled into the new house (I think we will be completely settled in tomorrow) I think I'll be able to get back to my creations sometime this week.  Wanted to reupload my old creations to another site, but like a dummy, I didn't back them up onto my portable before the incident...so they died with my computer unless they are in my EA studio.

Anyway...hope everyone is having a happy weekend wherever you are!
